Are Ishiba and Noda ambitious and bold enough to unite and form a centrist government?

Ishiba is a centrist within the right-leaning LDP, while Noda is a centrist within the left-leaning CDP. In fact, Ishiba and Noda are much closer in their political beliefs to each other than to some members of their own parties. Could these two leaders from the LDP and CDP form a new centrist government?

It may sound far-fetched, but I believe it could actually happen. Let’s assume the LDP-Komei coalition fails to secure a majority of votes. They may then be forced to seek a third party to join their coalition. While the Ishin or Kokumin parties might be candidates, Noda's centrist faction of the CDP could also be an option. If Ishiba and Noda are ambitious and bold enough to unite and form a centrist government, it might just be possible.
